Glass or crystal
When glass is the better answer.
The difference is weight and clarity
Optic crystal is heavier and clearer, with a slight blue depth to it. Glass is lighter and a touch greener in the edge. Side by side you can tell. On a shelf, at a distance, most people cannot.
The base changes how it photographs
The black base is the safe, formal choice. The blue and black reflective base throws colour up into the glass and photographs far better, which matters if the awards are going on your socials that night.
Budget goes further
Every shape here sits under the crystal equivalent. If you are awarding twenty people rather than three, glass is usually how you keep the piece substantial without the total getting away from you.
