- Display out of direct sunlight to prevent any base discoloration over time
- Dust with a soft microfiber cloth — avoid paper towels which can scratch
- For deeper cleaning, use diluted dish soap and water, then dry immediately to prevent water spots

- Can you engrave photos on crystal?
- Photo etching is available but it's a more involved service — we need a high-resolution photo with good contrast, and the artwork has to be prepared and tested before the final engraving. We will sample-engrave to confirm the result before doing the final piece. Available for customers who are okay with the additional artwork prep cost — call to discuss your photo and we will quote it.
- What is the difference between optic crystal and glass?
- Optic crystal contains a higher percentage of lead or barium oxide, giving it greater clarity, weight, and light refraction than standard glass. The engraving also stays crisper longer.
- Do you offer color print-fill on engravings?
- Crystal and glass engravings are left frosted — the contrast against the clear material is what creates the visual impact. Acrylic and wood items engrave to a natural dark contrast that does not require any added paint or fill.
