Fiber laser
Custom metal engraving in Houston.
A fiber laser marks metal directly, with no ink, no plating and nothing to wear off. We engrave knives, brass and aluminium plates, tools, flasks and equipment tags for customers across Greater Houston.
What we mark
Metals the fiber laser handles.
Stainless steel and knives
Blades, bolsters and handles. A maker's mark, a name or a date, cut permanently into the steel. This is one of the most common things we are asked for and the results are excellent.
Brass and aluminium plates
Equipment tags, machine plates, dedication plaques and valve tags. Anodized aluminium is particularly good: the laser lifts the anodizing to bright silver, giving very high contrast.
Coated and powder coated metal
Same principle as the drinkware range. The laser removes the coating and exposes the metal beneath, so the mark is structural rather than printed.
What it is for
Where a permanent mark actually matters.
Asset and equipment tagging
Serial numbers, asset IDs and barcodes that have to survive the working life of the item. Labels peel; an engraved mark does not.
Tools and gifts that get used
A name on a multitool, a knife or a flask. These are gifts that go in a pocket and get handled daily, which rules out anything printed on the surface.
Industrial and safety plates
Legible, permanent identification on plant and fittings. Tell us the size, the material and what has to go on it and we will quote it.
